Drugs in Galapagar

On Tuesday 26 October 2010, Jesús Sánchez,local police chief at the time, visited us at IES Cañada Real and talked about drugs, the differences between hard drugs and soft drugs, the related illnesses, etc.
We would like to thank Jesús Sánchez for his great knowledge about drugs and also for coming to our school.

Our project this year

We'll be working on four topics: eating habits and disorders, drugs, sex-related illnesses and social illnesses and phobia. We'll be in touch with different social, political, educational and legal authorities so as to carry out a research and then compare the results among all the partners once in Italy in May 2011.
Hopefully, this will make our teenagers see the risks and also be aware of what they may do to help other students as well!

Comenius week in Galapagar (Spain) is over

My dear Comenius friends,
Now our Comenius week together in Galapagar -Spain- is over, I miss you a lot and I hope you all enjoyed your visit and all the activities we had planned for you.
Nous vous remercions beaucoup pour votre aide et tout ce qu'on a fait tout ensemble.
I feel happy -and relaxed, I have to say now- that you could eventually come to Spain. The weather was wonderful so we were able to carry out all our plans:
Our visit to the Prado Museum (Goya and Velázquez), Salamanca, Segovia and El Escorial. The presentations were excellent and showed all the partners had worked a lot before coming.
THANKS A LOT FOR EVERYTHING, MERCI BEAUCOUP, GIKUIA, KESENAM, GRAZIE!

COMENIUS WEEK

Time is over and we are ready to spend a few days with all our Comenius partners. We are sorry Marlene, the Portuguese friend, cannot come to Spain. We hope to see her in Italy next year.
I would like to thank everybody for all their help. We have many things planned and are looking forward to seeing you chez nous.
